Dhanlaxmi Crop punches the biotechnological tools with the traditional seed breeding process to produce open-pollinated and hybrid varieties of seeds for various seeds crops and vegetables. These seeds help in growing crops, that are high-yielding and offer the best quality vegetables and crops. Another utility of these seeds is that the plants that grow from them have a higher tolerance level to diseases and pests compared to naturally grown plants/ crops.
As per data of 31 March 2024, Dhanlaxmi Crop Science Ltd. had produced seeds of 24 crops and vegetables by operating in five different states of the country. The major product of the company is cottonseeds, which account for more than 76% of the operating profit. In FY 23 and FY22, the operating profit from cottonseeds accounted for 71.47% and 64.73% respectively, which shows a growing majority of these seeds for Dhanlaxmi Crop.
