The third week of September is going to be a roller coaster ride for investors and stock market participants as multiple corporate actions are scheduled this week. Corporate action announcements most of the time play a crucial role in stock price movement. Thus, for investors, it is important to keep an eye on these announcements to gauge the performance of the stocks and plan their trading and investment strategies accordingly.
This week, that is between 16 September and 20 September, there are different business houses, which are announcing dividends, bonus share issues, stock splits, and more such corporate actions. This week is more significant because the businesses/ companies announcing the upcoming corporate actions include some of the big names such as Container Corporation, SAIL, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders, Dixon, and others. So, let’s take a close look at the details now in a chronological way.
Corporate Actions – 17 September
- Edelweiss Financial Services Ltd.’s dividend will be paid on 17 September. The per share dividend is ₹ 1.5 while the face value of the share stands at ₹ 1 per share.
- A dividend of ₹ 4 per share for a face value of ₹ 5 per share is to be paid by J Kumar Infraprojects Ltd. 17 September is the record date for the same.
- Another dividend of ₹ 10 per share from Garware Hi-Tech Films is scheduled on this day. The face value of the share is ₹ 10 per share as of the record date, which is 17 September.
- NMDC also announced its final dividend payment of ₹ 1.5 per share on this date. In FY24, the annual dividend yield of the company stood at 3.3% p.a.
Corporate Actions – 18 September
- The record date for the final dividend of ₹ 1 per share from Allcargo Logistics Ltd. on the share of the face value of ₹ 2 per share.
- Similarly, Apollo Pipes Ltd. will come up with its final dividend as well on this date (record date). The dividend of ₹1 per share will be on a face value of ₹ 10 each share.
- A dividend of ₹ 2.5 per share against a face value of ₹ 5 per share was announced by Container Corporation of India Ltd. and the record date is 18 September.
- Dixon Technologies (India) Ltd. is to pay ₹ 5 as a dividend against each share of face value ₹ 2.
- KNR Construction Ltd. is to pay a final dividend of ₹ 0.25 per share against a face value of ₹ 2 per share on the record date, which is 18 September.
- Heidelberg Cement India Ltd. will be trading ex-dividend on 18 September, as it will be paying the final dividend of ₹ 8 per share on that date.
Corporate Actions – 19 September
- APL Apollo Tubes will be paying ₹ 5.5 per share as a final dividend against each share of face value of ₹ 2.
- Gujrat Alkalies & Chemicals Ltd. is to pay ₹ 13.85 per share as a final dividend and its shares’ face value is ₹ 10 per share.
- Hindustan Copper will turn ex-dividend on this date by paying ₹ 0.92 per share as a dividend against a share face value of ₹ 5 per share.
- Final Dividend of Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders will also come on this date and the final dividend amount is ₹ 12.11 per share.
- MCX will be paying ₹ 7.64 as a dividend on each share of face value ₹ 10 per share.
- Nandan Denim Limited announced a stock split (ex-date) to happen on this date. The face value of ₹ 10 per share as of now will be split into 10 shares of face value ₹ 1 each. The split ratio is thus 10:1.
- SAIL or Steel Authority of India will be paying ₹ 1 as a dividend on each share of face value ₹ 10 for which the record date is 19 September.
- PTC India’s dividend is to come on this date too and it is paying ₹ 7.8 per share for a face value of ₹ 10 per share.
- Saksoft Ltd. to come up with its bonus issue on this date with a bonus ratio of 1:4, which means the shareholders in the company, will receive one extra share for every four shares they hold.
Corporate Actions – 20 September
On Friday, the last day of this week;
- Ambika Cotton Mills will be paying ₹ 35 as a dividend for each of the shares held on a face value of ₹ 10 per share.
- Apex Frozen will also pay its final dividend of ₹ 2 per share
- RITEs Ltd. on 20 September, will not only pay a dividend of ₹ 5 per share but also issue bonus shares of a 1:1 ratio which means every shareholder in the company will receive one extra share for every share they hold now.
- Aurionpro Solutions Ltd. will also pay a final dividend of ₹ 2.5 per share against a face value of ₹ 10 per share.
- Gujarat Fluorochemicals Ltd. will also be paying a final dividend of ₹ 3 per share against a face value of ₹ 1 per share.
- Stock split by Fedders Holdings Ltd. will be taking place on this date where the face value of the shares will be changed to ₹ 1 per share from its current value of ₹ 10 per share as per the split ratio of 10:1.
- Bonus issue by Mindteck (India) Ltd. scheduled on this date where shareholders will receive one additional share of the company against every four shares they hold as per a 1:4 bonus ratio.
- National Aluminium Company Ltd. will be paying ₹ 2 per share as the final dividend for the year.
- Phoenix Mills Ltd. will be giving bonus shares at a 1:1 ratio doubling the stakes of the shareholders.
- Finally, Ujaas Energy Ltd. will also be giving out bonus shares as per a 1:4 ratio on this date.
