Investors interested in investing in upcoming IPO should keep an eye on the primary market as one of the biggest IPO ever in the history of India is about to hit the market soon. It is hyundai motor ipo and the auto giant from South Korea has already submitted its draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with SEBI. As per the DRHP, the hyundai motor ipo may even surpass the issue size of LIC, which has been the biggest IPO in India to date. Hyundai Motors IPO

Hyundai Motors a South Korean automobile maker has filed for its IPO in India to sell 142.2 million shares worth around $3 billion as per its DRHP filed with SEBI. The IPO may hit the primary market around the end of 2024 as the listing is planned for the end of the year however, the hyundai motor ipo launch date is to be announced later. This IPO is an offer for sale (OFS) of 142194700 equity shares with the face of ₹ 10 per share. The primary purpose of the IPO is to be listed on the stock exchange to get more visibility in the market. The hyundai motor ipo price will be disclosed as SEBI gives a nod for the IPO. 

The automaker has been India’s second-largest manufacturer of cars right after Maruti Suzuki in FY24 as per passenger sales volumes. In FY23, the unit of the carmaker in India generated a revenue of around ₹ 60000 crores with a profit of around ₹ 4653 crores. Amongst the carmakers, that are not listed on the stock exchanges, Hyundai has been at the top as per its profit figures in 2023. 

Godavari Biorefineries IPO

Another company that filed its DRHP with SEBI is Godavari Biorefineries, which is an SME operating in the bio-chemical manufacturing space. The IPO of this ethanol maker will be a mix of both fresh equity shares and offers for sale where the fresh equity shares will be worth ₹ 325 crores and 65.27 lakh equity shares will be offered for sale. 

One of the major chunks of the IPO proceeds which is ₹ 240 crore will be used for repaying loans, and debts of the firm as mentioned in the Godavari biorefineries ipo details in the DRHP. 

The total income of the company stood at ₹ 202307.87 lakhs in FY23 up from its FY22 level of ₹ 170997.62 lakhs. The net profit, however, dropped from ₹ 1944.76 lakhs in FY22 to ₹ 1607.86 lakhs in FY23. The valuation of this bio-based chemical company was reported as $97.2 billion in 2023 while the expected growth in this industry stood at 10.4% CAGR between 2023-2028. 

Stanley Lifestyles IPO

Coming to the second Ipo from the SME segment, this luxury furniture brand is opening its ₹ 537 crore Stanley Lifestyles ipo on 21 June 2024. This is a mix of fresh issues of ₹ 200 crores while the remaining is OFS by selling around 91.33 lakh shares with a price bank of around ₹ 351 to ₹ 369. The stanley lifestyles ipo details in the RHP suggest that the company will use ₹ 90.13 crore of the IPO proceeds for starting new stores and expanding the business. Then for starting one anchor store, it will use ₹ 39.99 crores of the proceeds and ₹ 10.04 crore for renovation of the existing stores. Apart from the stores, ₹ 8.18 crore will be used for apical expenditure for buying new machinery, required equipment, and other resources and assets.

Stanley Lifestyles’ operating revenue went up from ₹ 292.20 crore in FY22 to ₹ 418 crore, which is a significant jump in a year. Its net profit also surged to ₹ 34.98 crores in FY23 from ₹ 23.22 crores in FY22. The IPO will open on 21 June as mentioned above and it will conclude on 25 June 2024. 


The upcoming ipos are expected to keep the market busy in the coming days. However, investors interested in investing in these ipos must take time to analyze all the details to choose the stocks wisely.
